The Medicine Process - a journey of conscious descent to meet with the Shadow Self. An Initiation.
A necessary rite of passage that supports healing and integration in order to come into conversation with one’s internal landscape, particularly the aspects still largely occupied by the archetypal maiden, or inner child, who is thirsty for spiritual nourishment and yearning to step into authentic maturation and her deep Self.
During our seven days together we undertake a journey to retrieve, integrate and renew lost modes of consciousness that have exiled themselves into the unconscious terrain of the psyche, commonly as a result of unprocessed trauma.
Locked in a state of stagnation, powerlessness, voicelessness, inaction, dissociation, trauma can have debilitating effects on our capacity to step into our whole selves, to feel fully alive and in our bodies, emotionally literate and to move through our days with a sense of creative inspiration and agency. These shut-down and exiled parts are at the root of our individual and collective dis-ease, and in an increasingly disjointed society that devalues spiritual healthfulness, it is a revolutionary act to tend to the language of the soul.
>You will be invited inwards to a state of deep listening and restoration of the feminine principle, to retrieve what has been collectively banished through the generations. A journey that holds unquestionable potency when experienced at the embodied cellular level – a work that is not for the faint of heart.
Our only prerequisite is that participants arrive with a sense of curiosity to dive into the full mystery of the parts of themselves they are willing to let die in order to be reborn on the other side of this initiation.

DEEP NATURE LOCATION
Our venue is located on 18 hectares of protected land, situated by a stunning lake and surrounded by an abundance of wildlife and ancient caves, inland off the coast of Cadiz, Southern Spain. Further details about our venue will be shared alongside your booking.
ACCOMMODATION
We will be accommodated in a traditional Spanish Cortico [farmhouse] in clean, cosy and comfortable shared rooms and bathrooms. The property also has large yurts with ensuite bathrooms as well as tipis onsite, if you are interested in one of these at an extra cost please inquire via email.
FOOD
Much of the food will be sourced locally or directly from the land – catering vegetarian. Specific dietary requirements can be attended to with advance notice.
TRAVEL INFO
Please book flights arriving at Malaga Airport.
The costs of airport transfers are covered by Medicine Space.
Arrival
If you are arriving into Malaga there will be a transfer arranged to collect the group between 14.30 – 15.30.
If you wish to be included in this transfer then your flight must be scheduled to land no later than 14.30. Please provide us with your landing time, airline and flight number 1 month prior to the retreat, so we can include you in the transfer booking.
If you are landing outside of the transfer time, we can help you to arrange a taxi at the best price available.
You may also choose to fly into Seville [1.5 hrs] or Gibraltar [1hr] Airports, however please note transfers from these are not organised by us.
Departures
The retreat officially comes to a close at 12.00 noon on your scheduled last day.
The transfer vehicle will collect those at 13.00 going directly to Malaga airport. If you wish to be included, confirm this with us one month prior to your retreat.
