The Medicine Space is a holistic retreat center in Southern Spain facilitating transformative healing experiences for those on a path of self-inquiry and inner expansion. We have been leading these journeys since 2016, and having now witnessed hundreds of women and men walk through the fire of transformation we are committed more than ever to growing and evolving our business in ways that will enable this potent healing work to reach many more people for years to come.

To create a world-renowned retreat center and eventually, an all-encompassing wellness hotel that models how a future rooted in community, healing, transformation, sustainability and conscious business can co-exist.

This would entail a full transformation of the existing property [which currently operates as a hotel], whereby we would renovate each space in-order to maximize the potential of the facilities including: Two organic restaurants, a holistic spa, functional fitness studio, art and music studio, natural beauty salon, organic pharmacy, and six wellness shalas.

The property holds great sentiment as it was built by Stephanie’s grandfather, Christos Kazolides, twenty years ago. It was his last project before he passed in 2012, and since, Stephanie has felt a great connection to the space and the land, with a keen interest and passion in continuing her grandfather’s legacy. In 2015 she moved her life from London to reside full time in Spain, where she began operating her retreats from the hotel, meanwhile working towards planting the seeds for her greater vision.

We are situated in the Benahavis mountains of Andalucia, Spain, surrounded by an abundant of rich greenery, woodlands, waterfalls and adjacent to the Guadalmina river. This area is already a popular destination for adventure seekers and wellness travellers looking to experience a variety of nature excursions all year round.

We are also conveniently a ten-minute drive from the nearest beach, twenty minutes from Marbella town and a one-hour drive from Malaga airport.
